The Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain encourages the study and enjoyment of architectural history. Through its membership, the Society provides a forum for the interchange of ideas and information, acting as a valuable link between architectural historians both in this country and abroad. Membership is open to all who are interested in architecture and its history, and an interest in the built environment is the only qualification. There are over 1,100 individual and institutional members in the British Isles and abroad. Members receive the annual edition of the journal Architectural History, a magazine, and invitations to events, study days and tours.
