Re-Reading and Understanding the Narratives of the Other: The 2024 PhD and Early Career Research Symposium

The Call for Papers for the SAHGB Symposium 2024 is now open for submissions. We are very pleased to invite proposals for this event.

This year, the symposium will take place over 2 days on 26-27 June, based at Birmingham City University, with the opportunity to participate in person or as a remote delegate. The first day is dedicated to the symposium, with the second offering a series of workshops and seminars intended for Early Career Researchers.

The Call for Papers invites contributions from all regions, about all time periods, and from all disciplines and constituencies within Architectural History. Organised by a core group of SAHGB scholarship holders, engaged in different stages of study at their respective universities, this event is intended to uncover subjects less explored, the new and the non-traditional.

Please see the full details of the Call for Papers, and how to submit an entry.

Sharing our call online with colleagues and fellow Architectural History enthusiasts is encouraged and welcomed.

Registrations for delegates to attend one or both days of the symposium will open online in the coming weeks.
